Phebe Curtis

     Phebe was born on Tuesday, 2 March 1688 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Benjamin Curtis and Ester Judson. Phebe married Ephraim Hawley on 10 May 1711 in Stratford. Ephraim and Phebe had children: Jeheil [2/14/1712-11/02/1777] [m. 3/30/1731 Sarah Dunning], Matthew [1713-12/12/1800] [m. Hannah Buck], Nathan [1715-1766] [m. 11/08/1733 Keziah Bunnell], Abel [1720-10/16/1797] [m. first wife undknown & 2nd Bethia Curtis], David [1722-3/02/1812] [m. 5/22/1746 Ruth Chapman], Josiah [7/29/1731-10/22/1791] [m. Hannah Warner] & six other children. Phebe departed this life on Thursday, 6 March 1760 in Wallingford, New Haven County, Connecticut, at age 72 years and 4 days.
