Peter Clapham

     Peter was born. Peter married Isabella Barlow, daughter of John Barlow I and Ann Ward. Peter and Isabella had children: Peter, Rebecca and Elizabeth. Peter departed this life on Monday, 18 February 1697 in Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. The inventory of Peter's estate was taken on Monday, 4 March 1697 by John Thompson and John Edwards. The estate was appraised at 316 pounds.¹ Peter's wife, Isabella, died in 1698 in Fairfield leaving him a widower. He married second Ruth [last name unknown]. The distribution of Peter's estate was done on 3 March 1713 with Peter getting a double shareunting to about 266 pounds amo and Rebecca and Elizabeth 1 share amounting to about 134 pounds.¹
