Abigail Carpenter

     Abigail was born in Shalbourne, Berkshire, England. She was christened there on 31 May 1629 in St Michael's & All Angel's Church.¹ She was the daughter of William Carpenter and Abigail Briant. Abigail married John Titus, son of Robert Titus and Hannah Carter, circa 1650 in Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. Abigail's husband, John, died on 18 April 1689 in Rehoboth leaving her a widow. Abigail married 2nd Jonah Palmer, son of Walter Palmer and Ann Elizabeth (?), on 9 November 1692 in Rehoboth. Abigail departed this life on Wednesday, 5 March 1710 in Rehoboth.
