Daniel and Christian had children: Hiram [1820] [m. 11/05/1843 Sarah Hoyt], Ira [1823], John [11/03/1826-7/11/1864] [m. Augusta T Farnsworth], Ann [11/29/1828-12/30/1851] & Charles [1831-3/06/1893]. The 1830 U.S. Federal Census enumerates at Oakland County, Michigan Territory, the family of Daniel Burrows [111001:110001].3 The 1840 U.S. Federal Census enumerates at Independence Township the family of D Burrows [0111101:0010001].4 24 July 1850, Daniel and his wife, Christian, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Independence Township. Enumerated in this household were Daniel Burrows [56 New York], Christain [53 New York] & Ira [27 New York]. They are farming with real estate worth $2000. [Their son, John, is listed right below them]5 Daniel's wife, Christian, died on 28 September 1851 in Independence Township leaving him a widower. Daniel married second 3 December1854, Cynthia Alfree in Shiawassee County. She having divorced John Linabury 3 October 1854 also in Shiawassee County. They lived in Brady Township, Saginaw County.6 24 June 1870, Daniel was listed on the U.S. Federal Census at Brady Township, Saginaw County, Michigan. Enumerated in this household were Gilbert Overpeck [40 Pennsylvania], Leticia [35 New York], Eugene [17 Michigan], Frances [15 Michigan], Alice [13 Michigan] Ira [10 Michigan], George [1 Michigan] & Daniel Burrows [77 New York]. Gilbert and Eugene are farmers.7 Daniel departed this life on Friday, 1 September 1876 in Brady Township, Saginaw County, Michigan, at age 83 years, 3 months and 15 days.
