Margaret Brooke

F, b. circa 1526
     Margaret was born circa 1526 in London, County Middlesex, England, at the parish of St. Leonard's. She was the daughter of Robert Brooke and Katherine (?) William & Margaret had children: Katherine & Judith. This Katherine is mentioned in John Beryman's will in 1565 & she & her sister Judith in their grandmother, Katherine Beryman's will.1 Margaret married William Hardinge in London at St. Leonard's Church [Near Eastcheap].2

Their daughter Katherine is mentioned in John Beryman's will in 1565, but in Katherine Beryman's will there is also a daughter Judith. Mrs. Valore is of the opinion that the granddaughter Katherine was not just an infant when mentioned in John Beryman's and Katherine's wills.
