Joane Brooke

Joane was born in London, County Middlesex, England, at the parish of St. Leonard's. She was christened there on 11 May 1555 in St. Leonard's Church [Near Eastcheap].1 She was the daughter of John Brooke and Elizabeth Whetman. Joane married Robert Foote, son of John Foote and Helen Warren, on 18 June 1576 in London at St. Leonard's Church [Near Eastcheap].2 Joane's husband, Robert, died before 15 February 1608/9 in London, County Middlesex, England, leaving her a widow.3 Joane departed this life on Tuesday, 10 October 1634 in County Essex, England, at the parish of Shalford.
