Sarah was born circa 1643 in Newport, Newport County, Rhode Island. She was the daughter of Moyles Williams and Anne Pankhurst. Sarah married Timothy Halstead circa 1659 in Town of Hempstead, Long Island, New Netherlands. She was married to Timothy when her step father, Henry Pearsall wrote his will 24 July 1667.
