William was born in Boston, Lincolnshire, England. He was christened there on 15 February 1573 in St. Botolph's Cathedral. He was the son of John Truesdell and Isabelle Warde. William married Alyce Frybusse on 21 May 1598 in Boston at St. Botolph's Cathedral. William & Alyce along with their family resided in Boston, England. He was a butcher. William's wife, Alyce, died before 26 March 1619 in Boston, leaving him a widower. William married 2nd Elizabeth Wrenne on 23 November 1619 in Boston at St. Botolph's Cathedral. William departed this life in Boston. He was buried there in the churchyard of St. Botolph's Cathedral on Thursday, 1 January 1643.
