Phebe Titus1,2

F, b. March 1660, d. 10 March 1743
     Phebe was born the 1st month 1660 at Town of Hempstead, Long Island, New Netherlands.3 She was the daughter of Edmund Titus and Martha Washbourne. Phebe married Samuel Scudder in Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Phebe's husband, Samuel, died in January 1690 in Hempstead Town, leaving her a widow.4 Phebe married Robert Field on 24 February 1690 in the Town of Flushing. The 24th day of the 12th month 1689.5 Phebe's husband, Robert, died on 13 April 1701 in the Town of Flushing, Queens County, Long Island, New York, leaving her a widow.6 She made her will the 12th day of the eleventh month 1742. [New York Wills: Liber 15, page 146]. Phebe departed this life on Sunday, 10 March 1743 in Newtown, Queens County, Long Island, New York. 10th day of he first month 1742.5 Her will was probated on 12 November 1743.
