Sgt. Nathaniel Sutliffe1,2

     Nathaniel was born on Wednesday, 27 July 1672 in Medfield Township, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.3 He was the son of Nathaniel Sutliffe and Hannah Plimpton. Nathaniel married Sarah Savage, daughter of John Savage and Sarah Bowen, in 1692 in Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts.4 Nathaniel departed this life on Tuesday, 1 April 1732 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut, at age 59 years, 8 months and 5 days. He was buried there in the Old Durham Cemetery.
