     Solomon was born circa 1651 in Town of Hempstead, Long Island, New Netherlands. He was the son of Captain John Seaman and Elizabeth (?) Solomon married Elizabeth Linnington before 1682 in Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Solomon & his family resided in Jerusalem, Hempstead Township, Queens County, L.I., New York. Solomon and Elizabeth had children: Solomon, Deborah, Elizabeth, May, Abigaill, Henry. 31 August 1698, Solomon and Elizabeth and his wife, [ROF:Hempstead Town] were listed on the Hempstead Town Census. Enumerated in this household were Solomon Seaman, Elizabeth, Solomon, Deborah, Elizabeth, May, Abigaill, Henry. Solomon made his will on 20 May 1728 at Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Solomon departed this life before 31 May 1733 in the Town of Hempstead, Queens County, Long Island, New York.2 The inventory of Solomon's estate was taken on Sunday, 31 May 1733 by his son, Solomon. His will was probated on 20 December 1733.
