     Richard was born in the Town of Hempstead, Queens County, Long Island, New York. He was the son of Richard Jr. b. 31 January 1695 - 1752 & Sarah and grandson of Richard & Jane Seaman. Richard married Sarah Searing, daughter of John Searing III and Elizabeth (?), on 26 May 1751 in Hempstead Town at St. George's Anglician Church i.2,3,4 Richard & Sarah had children: Jacob, Benjamin [m. Jane Willis], John & Richard. Richard made his will on 3 September 1784 at Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Richard departed this life after 3 September 1784 in the Town of Hempstead, Queens County, Long Island, New York.
