     Richard was born in 1692 in Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He was the son of Lieut. John Olmsted and Mary Benedict. Richard married Mary Betts on 22 April 1714 in Connecticut. Richard & Mary had children: John [2/25/1715][m.
