Katherine was born circa 1397 in County Durham, England, at Raby Castle. She was the daughter of Ralph Neville and Lady Joan (?) de Beaufort. Katherine married John Mowbray on 12 January 1412.1 Ralph and Katherine had a son John [11/12/1415-11/06/1461] [m. 1443 Eleanor Bourchier].
