Joanna (?)

Joanna was born in England. She sometimes goes by the name Joan. On 16 April 1615, she was christened in Watford, Hertfordshire, England, at St. Marys Church.1 Joanna married Thomas Wheeler, son of (?) Wheeler Family, in 1638 in New England. Joanna joined the First Church of Milford on 27 September 1640.2 Joanna's husband, Thomas, died on 26 November 1672 in Milford, New Haven County, Connecticut, leaving her a widow. Joanna departed this life in Milford. She was buried there in the First Church churchyard on Sunday, 11 June 1673.2 The inventory of Joanna's estate was taken on Friday, 23 June 1673 by Richard Treat and Daniel Buckingham.3
