Daniel married Mary Ellen Meraw, daughter of Louis Trifley Meraw II and Rachel O'Neil, on 11 October 1914 in Village of Tweed, Hungerford Twp. at St. Carthagh Church.¹ Daniel departed this life on Saturday, 10 October 1936 in Madoc Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada, at age 49 years and 23 days. He was buried at Village of Tweed, Hungerford Township in the yard of St. Carthagh Church. In grave number 265 alongside his wife.²
