Cora Ellen Peterman

She was raised on a farm not far from the McCurdy homestead. Cora's husband, (?), died before 8 June 1900, leaving her a widow. Enumerated in this household were Sidney McCurdy [48 Ohio], Cora [45 Ohio], Harry [17 Ohio], Jessie [15 Ohio], Edith [9 Ohio], Rusel [5 Ohio].³ 5 April 1930, Cora and her husband Sidney were listed on the U.S. Federal Census at Liberty Township, Crawford County, Ohio. Enumerated in this household were Sidney McCurdy [58 Ohio], Cora [55 Ohio], Harry A. [27 Ohio], Jessie A. [24 Ohio], Edith E. [19 Ohio], Russell J. [15 Ohio]. Sidney was 30 and Cora was 27 when they first married.⁴ Cora departed this life on Tuesday, 4 December 1956 at Liberty Township, Crawford County, Ohio, at age 82 years and 23 days.
