Marilyn was born on Friday, 13 May 1932 at Liberty Township, Crawford County, Ohio. She was the daughter of Harry A. McCurdy and Lela Ruth Beery. As of 5 August 1951,her married name was Linn.1 Marilyn died in March 2011 at Brentwood Care Center, Brentwood, Pennsylvania, at age 78 years and 9 months after a battle with alzheimers.

Gerry (Karen) Saylor of Pgh., and the late Laura (survived by Dave) Baltzer of Lancaster. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, sister of Larry A. (Kathy) McCurdy. Joyce was a member of the Yankee Doodle Dandies, WMSA, Red Hat Ladies, and a member of the West Eliabeth United Methodist Church. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Thursday from 2- 4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Alzheimer's Association.
