Enumerated in this household were Edward Newman Mennell [39 Surrey, Croydon], Mabel Ferris Mennell [37 US of America] & a servant Florence [25 Chesire, Bollington]. He was a tea merchant working for himself. Mabel was noted as a British subject by marriage.3 Edward departed this life on Tuesday, 16 November 1937 in York, Yorkshire, England, at age 65 years.
