     Richard was born the 25th day of the 10th month 1660 at the Town of Hempstead, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Richard married, daughter of John Bowne and Hannah Feake, the 25th day of the 1st month 1686 in the Town of Flushing, Queens County, Long Island, New York. He and Abigail were blessed with one child, a daughter.. Richard left this written document: ""I was born on the 25th of tenth month, 1660, and I continued with my mother until I was 25 years of age ; and in the year 1686, on the 25th day of the 1st month, I took Abigail Bowne to wife, and we continued together until the 25th of the 11th month following, and then she bare me a daughter, and she called her name Hannah; and we enjoyed each other, in great love, until the 16th of the 4th month, 1689, and then ... " and was noted in the town records. Richard's wife, Abigail, died on 16 June 1689 in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York, leaving him a widow. Richard married 2nd Abigail Powell, daughter of Thomas Powell and Abigail Wood, on 15 March 1690/91 in Huntington, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. He and Abigail were blessed with 7 cildren. The family resided at Jericho, Queens Co., L.I., New York. Richard departed this life the 14th day of the 3rd month 1703 in Jericho in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York.
