Abigail was born circa 1639 probably at the New Haven Colony. It is not known exactly who her mother is but indications are that she is of Jonas' first wife. Abigail married Thomas Powell circa 1664 in the Town of Hempstead, Queens County, Long Island, New York. She and Thomas were blessed with 8 children. Abigail departed this life before 1689 in Westbury, Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York.
