Cock and Elizabeth Ferris, on 8 June 1831 in Manhattan at Friends Meeting House, Henry Street. Marriage: Yesterday Friends Meeting House, Henry St., James B. Parsons to Eliza F. Cox daughter of Dr. Thomas, all of this city. Enumerated in this household were James Parsons, [71 New York], Eliza [69 New York] & Emily [40 New York].6 James died the 9th month 2nd day, 1894 at Lithfield at age 85 years, 3 months and 16 days. He was buried in Flushing, Queens County, Long Island, New York, in Flushing Cemetery.7
