     Elizabeth was born circa 1774 at "Grove Farm", Throgs Neck, Westchester County, New York. She often went by the nickname Betsey. Elizabeth married Dr. Thomas T. Cock on 19 January 1809 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, at First Prebyterian Church, 10 Wall Street.1,2,3 Her three daughters and those of her sister, Anna, were inseparateable when young. Elizabeth departed this life on Monday, 22 November 1830 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, at her home on Beekman Street.4 She was buried in New York City, New York County, New York, in the Friend's Burying Ground on North Street.5
