     Henry was born on Saturday, 27 November 1841 at Washington Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. Henry was laid to rest in Burkettsville, Maryland. And later moved to the Antietam National Cemetery in Sharpsville, Maryland. Henry was killed, while serving as a private in company B, 11th Pennsylvania Reserves, Infantry Regiment, also known as the 40th Pennsylvania Volunteers during the Civil War, in the Battle of South Mountain on Sunday, 14 September 1862 at age 20 years, 9 months and 18 days.
