His border pass describes him as being 5’ 10” tall, dark complexion, brown hair & gray eyes.2 Joseph married Doris Rashotte on 14 August 1942.3 Joseph departed this life on Friday, 31 August 1984 in Belleville, Ontario, Canada, at age 79 years, 6 months and 20 days.4
