Marietta Ramsey

     Marietta was born on Monday, 5 February 1838 at Steubenville, Jefferson County, Ohio. She was the daughter of Robert & Cornelia [Shaw] Ramsey. Marietta also went by the name of Mary. Marietta married Francis Elisha McCurdy, son of William M. McCurdy I and Zilpha Matthews, on 27 December 1866 at Peoria County, Illinois. They were married at the family home of the bride. 1880, Marietta and her husband Francis were listed on the U.S. Federal Census at Belle Plaine, Iowa Township, Benton County, Iowa.
