Enumerated in this household were Earl Whitcher [50 Kansas], his wife: Annie [35 Kansas], Vietta [12 Kansas], Everett [10 Kansas] & Larry [11/12 Kansas].² Earl departed this life on Saturday, 7 July 1962 at Franklin County, Kansas, at age 72 years, 4 months and 24 days. Earl was laid to rest in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Williamsburg, Franklin County, Kansas. He was in Company 164 Depot Brigade World War I PH Cpl 1.
