     Howard was born on Tuesday, 8 May 1923 at Jackson County, Michigan. Howard married Catherine May Mewshaw on 26 January 1946 in Baltimore. After the marriage, the couple returned to Howard's home in Jackson Michigan. Howard and Catherine had children: Karen M., Gary & John. Howard departed this life on Wednesday, 3 November 2010 in Jackson at age 87 years, 5 months and 26 days. He was buried at Jackson in the Maxon Cemetery.1
