He is a 1st Lieutenant in the regular army. 12 April 1930, Virginiaand her husband, and her husband, Richard were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, at 6502 Kenwood Avenue. Paddock [53 Nebraska], daughter: Virginia Paddock [53 Illinois], grandson: Stephen Paddock [26 Illinois] & a lodger: Anna G. Paddock [80 Pennsylvania] [Note: Anna G. is the mother of James & Richard B. Paddock - KLM]. They all lived in the same house in 1935. James is a clerk at a laboratory and Stephen is a saleman for a retail engine supplier.⁴ Virginia departed this life on Sunday, 8 April 1962 in Cook County, Illinois, at age 76 years, 6 months and 12 days.⁵
