James Valentine Seaman Paddock

Herbert is the county clerk and Richard B. is a deputy county clerk.¹ 8 June 1900, James and his wife, Annie, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Hyde Park, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, at 444 Sixty-fifth Street. Enumerated in this household were James V. Paddock [41 Illinois - August 1858], Anna J. [36 Pennsylvania - September 1863], James G. [19 Nebraska - November 1881], Margaret [16 Nebraska - July 1883], Richard B. [14 Nebraska - November 1885], ward: Caro A Kestin [15 Canada - September 1884] & a servant: Hilda Johnson [Sweden]. They are renting their home.² James departed this life on Wednesday, 7 August 1907 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. He was buried on 9 August 1907 at Princeton, Bureau County, Illinois, in Oakland Cemetery.³
