Helen L. Sprague

     Helen was born on Friday, 7 January 1881 at Black River Falls, Jackson County, Wisconsin. She was the daughter Almerin R Sprague & Myra R Peck.¹ Helen L. married Augustus Tabor Parsons, son of Edward Willis Parsons and Mary Ferris Tabor, on 14 October 1915 in Alameda County, California.² 1920, Helenand her husband, Augustus were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Berkeley, Alameda County, California, at 1751 Tacoma Avenue. Enumerated in this household were Augustus T Parsons [36 New York], Helen L [38 Wisconsin], Katherine M [3 California] & Elizabeth C [11/12 California]. They own their home free and clear; Augustus is the editor of a trade journal.³ Helen departed this life on Saturday, 24 March 1923 in San Francisco, San Francisco County, California, at age 42 years, 2 months and 17 days.⁴ Letters of Administration were granted for her estate on 26 January 1924 at Placerville, El Dorado County, California, to her husband, Augustus Taber Parsons.
