     Katherine was born on Sunday, 3 February 1867. She often went by the nickname "Kate." On 24 July 1867, she was christened at St. Andrew Church, Manhattan, New York City, New York.1 Katherine married Frederick Howard Hoe on 16 February 1886 in Manhattan at St. Anne's Church. St. Anne's Church, NYC Feb 16, Rev Dr Ketten, Kate Seaman, dau James J to Frederic H Hoe of NYC. [New York Evening Post - 17 February 1886.] Katherine departed this life on Sunday, 4 April 1897 in New Brunswick, Middlesex County, New Jersey, at age 30 years, 2 months and 1 day.2 She was buried in Sleepy Hollow, Westchester County, New York, in Sleepy Hollow Cememtery. The inscription on her tombstone reads: Kate S. wife of Frederick H. Hoe - Born February 3, 1867 - Died Aril 4, 1897.3
