Jane W. Underhill

     Jane was born the 23rd day of the11th month 1802 at New York. She was the daughter of Joshua Underhill and Mary Sutton. Jane married John Haviland Ferris, son of Elijah Ferris and Phebe Haviland, the 8th day of the sixth month 1825 the New York Monthly Meeting, New York. 18 November 1850, Janeand her husband, and her husband, John were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in the town of Westchester, Westchester County, New York. Enumerated in this household were John H Ferris [50 New York], Jane A [48 New York], Anna H [21 New York], Elizabeth Quin [26 Ireland], Peter Smith [33 Ireland] & John H Ferris [20 New York].¹ Jane died the 8th day of the 8th month 1877 at age 75 years, 8 months and 15 days.
