Madge Hart

     Madge was born in 1872 at Battle Creek, Calhoun County, Michigan. She was the daughter of Thomas Hart and Anna J Saile. Madge married Valentine Seaman Ives [twin], son of Lewis Thomas Ives and Margaret Wright Leggett, on 7 June 1899 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Her married name was Ives. 4 June 1900, Madgeand her husband, and her husband, Valentine were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. Enumerated in this household were Valentine Ives [29 Michigan - July 1870], Madge [25 Ohio - January 1875], Janet [2 mos. Michigan-April 1900]. Clara Schaeffer [24 Michigan - August 1875 - servant] They have been married one year with one child. They lived at 1278 Beauview Court.¹
