Valentine Seaman Ives [twin]

     Valentine was born on Friday, 3 June 1870 at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. Valentine married Madge Hart on 7 June 1899 in Cleveland. 4 June 1900, Valentine and his wife, Madge, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Detroit. Enumerated in this household were Valentine Ives [29 Michigan - July 1870], Madge [25 Ohio - January 1875], Janet [2 mos. Michigan-April 1900]. Clara Schaeffer [24 Michigan - August 1875 - servant] They have been married one year with one child. They lived at 1278 Beauview Court.¹ He worked as an Inspector for the Ford Motor Comany. Valentine departed this life on Thursday, 28 June 1917 in Detroit at 121 Eason Avenue at age 47 years and 25 days of tuberculosis of the spine. He died the week of his daughter Janet's high school graduation. He was buried on 30 June 1917 at Detroit in the Elmwood Cemetery.
