John W. Tracy

     John W. was born on Thursday, 20 September 1877 in Pratt County, Illinois. He was the son of Moses & Sarah [Cox] Tracy. John married 2nd Maria Isabella Sherbeneau, daughter of Gabriel Sherbeneau and Anne Guernin, on 12 October 1922 in Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan.¹ 10 April 1930, John and his wife, Maria, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census at Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan. Enumerated in this household were John W. Tracy [51 Illinois], his wife: Marie Isabella [50 Canada, Canada & Ireland], and several roomers. He was 23 years old when 1st married and she was 23 years old. She speaks some English. He was a merchant - contractor - real estate. [Enumeration District 13, sheet 9b, line 91] John departed this life in March 1968 in Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan, at age 90 years and 5 months.²
