Phillip Simmons

     Phillip was born in 1846 in Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. He was the son of Bige C. Simmons & Eliza Prince. Phillip married Emma Morrow, daughter of Michael Morrow and Eliza Sherbineau, in 1867 in Hungerford Township. 9 June 1900, Phillip and his wife, Emma, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census at Vernon Townshi, Isabella County, Michigan. Enumerated in this household were Phillip Simmons [not readable], Emma [51 Canada-March 1849], Lianes [30 Canada-June 1869], Phillip [25 Canada-May 1875], Mitchell [16 Canada-Feb. 1884]. They had been married 30 years with 6 children, 6 living. They immigrated in 1883 & has been here 17 years, Lianes in 1881, Phillip in 1883 & Mitchell in 1892. [Enum.
