Amy Hoskinson

     Amy was born circa 1913 at Kansas. Amy married Robert Aquilla McCurdy, son of Thomas E. McCurdy and Lena Agnes Barnes, on 14 August 1933 at Williamsburg, Franklin County, Kansas. 18 April 1940, Amy and her husband Robert were listed on the U.S. Federal Census at 610 N. Oak Street, Ottawa, Franklin County, Kansas. Enumerated in this household were Robert McCurdy [33 Kansas], his wife: Amy [29 Kansas], Phyllis [9 Kansas], Loren [6 Kansas], Roberta [4 Kansas], Mary [2 Kansas] & Ruby [1 Kansas]. He completed the 7th grade and she the 5th grade. He worked at a "rockquary, road construction". They rented their home for $6.00 a month.¹
