Lucille Madeline Copeland

     Lucille was born on Saturday, 21 March 1914 at Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Charles Samuel Copeland & Mabel Amy English. Lucille married David Estes McCurdy, son of James Zigler McCurdy II and Ethel Pearle Temple, on 2 May 1937 at Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri. 12 April 1940, Lucille and her husband David were listed on the U.S. Federal Census at Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri. Enumerated in this household were David McCurdy [29 Colorado], his wife: Lucille [26 Nebraska] . David completed one year of college and Lucille had completed 4 years of High School. He worked as a cashier for a stock broker and earned $1500 a year. They owned their home valued at $4000.¹ Lucille departed this life on Monday, 3 January 2005 at Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, at age 90 years, 9 months and 13 days.²
