Thomas Ivan Grissom

     Thomas was born on Wednesday, 28 February 1900 at Union Center, Cumberland County, Illinois. Thomas married Dorothy May Shrider, daughter of Levi Shrider and Etta Blanche McCurdy, circa 1928. Dorothy met Ivan while working in a small diner in Casey and they began seeing each other. One day when Ivan came to see Dorothy he brought his brother, Noble, with him and he and Leona got together. He brought to this marriage three children: Florence, Budd, & Lavena. Thomas departed this life on Wednesday, 13 December 1933 at his home, Casey, Clark County, Illinois, at age 33 years, 9 months and 15 days.
