Wilhelmina's husband, George, died on 14 February 1993 in Northridge Hospital, Northridge, Los Angeles County, California, at age 76 years, 2 months and 8 days, leaving her a widow. Wilhelmina died on Saturday, 19 November 2005 at Encino Rivera Assissted Living, Tarzana,, Los Angeles, County, California, at age 83 years, 9 months and 3 days at 5:30 pm. Her body was cremated and her ashes were scattered with those of her husband.
