He was 23 years at his first marriage & she was 20 years.¹ 18 April 1940, Marie and her husband Percival were listed on the U.S. Federal Census at 1603 W Washington Avenue, Royal Oak, Oakland County, Michigan. Enumerated in this household were Percival Pease [67 Michigan], his wife Marie [45 Switzerland]. He was secretary treasurer for a Printing Supply Company with an income of $1950. They owned their home which had a value of $4500.² Marie's husband, Percival, died on 30 November 1949 in Royal Oak, Oakland County, Michigan, at age 77 years, 4 months and 1 day, leaving her a widow.
