Elizabeth was born on Thursday, 3 June 1915 at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. She was the daughter of Kenneth Irving Guest and Emma Ferrand Whittemore. She also went by the name of Beth. Elizabeth married Philip Henry Augerson on 20 November 1936. 5 April 1940, Elizabeth and her husband Philip were listed on the U.S. Federal Census at Glendale, Los Angeles County, California. Enumerated in this household were Phillip H Augerson [23 Illinois] his wife; Elizabeth L [24 Virginia]. He was an accountant for a Stock Broker making $1500 a year. They owned their home at 233 Jesse Avenue, Glendale which was valued at $3000. In 1935, they lived in Van Nuy, California.1 Elizabeth departed this life on Saturday, 6 January 1962 at Playa del Rey, California, at age 46 years, 7 months and 3 days. Elizabeth was buried at the Santa Barbara Cemetery, Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara County, California, where her ashes were interred.2
