Madeleine Snow

     Madeleine was born on Tuesday, 21 May 1901 at Paw Paw, Van Buren County, Michigan. She was the daughter of Harry Montreville Snow and Oleta Genevieve Packer. Madeline married John Rodgers King on 15 September 1923 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. They had one son, Harry. This marriage ended in divorce 24 May 1927. She married Fredrick Randall on 26 December 1929 at Highland Park, Wayne County, Michigan.1 2 April 1930, Madeleineand her husband, Fredrick were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, at 212 Abbott Avenue. Enumerated in this household were Frederick Randall [28 Michigan], Madeliene K. [28 Michigan], wife's step-son: Harry S. King [5 Oregon] & a lodger: Julia Burnett [15 Pennsylvania]. They are renting for $65 a month. He was 28 years old when first married; she was 22 years old. Fredrick was the secretary of the Michigan Alumni Association, Madeleine was an interior designer.2 12 April 1940, Madeleine was listed on the U.S. Federal Census at Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, at 113 Allen Boulevard. Enumerated in this household were Harry M. Snow [65 Michigan], Leta [59 Michigan], Madeline Randall [39 Michigan], Grandsons: Harry [15 Oregon], Chandler [5 Michigan] & Stewart [2 Michigan]. Leta is the manager of a symphony orchestra and Madeline is an interior decorator. Harry and Madeline had finished 4 years of college; Leta four years of high school.3 Madeleine died Sunday, 10 August 1975 at Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, at Bronson Hospital at age 74 years, 2 months and 20 days at 12:30 pm. She was buried at Kalamazoo in Moutain Home Cemetery.4
