     Percival was born on Thursday, 11 October 1804 at the family home at 90 Beekman Street, City, County & State of New York. He was never married. 16 June 1880, Percival was was listed on the U.S. Federal Census in the town of Westchester. Enumerated in this household were Anna Ferris [66 New York], her daughter: Anna A. Ferris [35 New York], brother-in-law: William L. Ferris [70 New York], borders: Anna A. Seaman [66 New York], Valentine Seaman [76 New York], Lindley F. Seaman [33 New York], Fanny L. Anna is a bording house keeper.1 Percival died suddenly on Wednesday, 4 April 1883, at Throgs Neck, Westchester County, New York, in the family home "Grove Farm" at age 78 years, 5 months and 24 days. On Saturday, his body was taken to the Harlem River Station on the New Haven Branch Railroad where at 11:55 am he traveled for a 35 minute ride. Carriages met the train and a funeral procession took him to the Friend's Meeting House, where his funeral took place at 12:30.2 He was buried in Westchester, Westchester County, New York, in the Ferris Burying Ground.
