Louis Trifley Meraw Family The research into the Meraw Family, for us, has begun and ended in the town of Tweed, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. Kathy’s grandmother had come from this little village and most of her family still lived there. Our futile search for the parents and ancestors of Trifley led us to research everyone in the area with the surname and the many variant spellings. The result was this project which is composed of the descendents of Trifley and Harriett Pelon and some of the descendents of others of the name. Some are thought to be brothers and cousins, others we have not been able to place, but seem somehow to belong. This project is far from complete and in need of corrections and additions which are of course welcome. |
