Pierre was born on Thursday, 15 September 1785 in Deschambault, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada. He was christened on the same day there in the church of St-Joseph.1 Pierre married Marguerite Baril on 24 November 1817 in Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade at Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade Church.2 Pierre & Marguerite had children: Marie-Lina [4/18/1819-7/28/1826], Marguerite [1/16/1821][m. Joseph Barabe], Pierre [1/15/1823-8/25/1823], Emilie [6/30/1824][m. 8/25/1846 Martin Gingras], Marie-Victoire [11/11/1825-10/24/1840], Rose 2/17/1828-3/191828], Narisse Treffle [12/05/1831] & Zephirin [10/11/1833].3 Pierre departed this life on Wednesday, 3 October 1838 in St-Pierre-les-Becquets at age 53 years and 18 days. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Pierre-les-Becquets on Friday, 5 October 1838.4
