     Thomas was born circa 1350 in County Essex, England. Thomas married Anne Drokensford, daughter of Thomas Drokenesford, circa 1379 in County Essex, England. Thomas inherited the manor of Black Notley from his father and Ann brought the Drokensford Manors into the marriage. After their death, these manors passed on to their son Thomas, who died one year later making their daughters Joan and Alice co-heiresses of these estates.1,2 Thomas departed this life in 1399 in county Essex, England, at the Manor of Stapleford Tany.
