Joseph Marie Loiseau dit Francoeur

     Joseph Marie was born on Sunday, 5 May 1715 in Ile-DuPas, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Pierre Louiseau & Marie Hu. On 26 May 1715, he was christened in Sorel, St-Pierre-De Saurel, Quebec, Canada, at St-Pierre Church.1 Joseph married Marie Louise Joseph Dandonneau, daughter of Jacques Dandonneau and Catherine Dutault, on 8 January 1738 in Ile-DuPas at the church of La Visitation.2 Joseph's wife, Marie, died on 24 April 1750 in Sorel, St-Pierre-De Saurel, Quebec, Canada, leaving him a widower. He married second on 23 November 1750, Marie Madeleine Lupien dit Belair; he then married third on 17 October 1763, to Cecile Ratte.3 Joseph departed this life on Saturday, 17 May 1777 in Sorel at age 62 years and 12 days. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Pierre on Monday, 19 May 1777.4
