Michel Lemay

M, b. circa 1659, d. 2 July 1712
     Michel was born circa 1659 in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Michel LeMay and Marie Duteau.1 Michel married Marie Catherine Jobin, daughter of Charles Jobin and Marie Madeleine Girard, on 22 April 1686 in Champlain, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada, at the church of La Visitation.2 Michel and Catherine had children: Michel [11/04/1689-][m. 1/08/1720 Marie Genevieve Marotte dit Labonte], Joseph [1691-][m. 11/04/1713 Marie Angelique Grenier], Marie Catherine [1694-4/03/1767][m. 11/18/1714 Jean Baptiste Gauthier], Louis [1696-10/02/1760][m. 5/26/1732 Elisabeth Isabelle Thiffault], Jean Baptiste [1698-][m. 11/26/1731 Marie Genevieve Rivard LaGlanderie], Marie Agnes [1701][m. 11/21/1729 Louis Houde Gervais] & Antoine [1/191703-7/03/1766][m. 2/14/1735 Marie Angelique Dubord Lafontaine].3 Michel departed this life on Saturday, 2 July 1712 in Quebec, Canada.1
